With Halloween upon us, I tried my hardest to come up with a "gross eats" idea that you haven't seen other places. You know, something that will turn your family's stomachs and make your friends feel a bit queasy at sight of it at the neighborhood Halloween party.
This just might be that treat trick you've been looking for.
And, guess what? It tastes good too! That is, if you can get it past your lips!
"PUKE"UMBER DIP {PRINT THIS RECIPE}
1 small pie pumpkin, cleaned and carved
1 - 2 small cucumbers, peeled, grated and squeezed of excess liquid
1/2 medium size red onion, grated
1/2 cup prepared salsa (your choice of heat level)
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Pretzel sticks, crackers, pita chips and/or assorted veggies
Mix all the ingredients and chill for 4 hours or overnight.
Spoon (or pour) the mixture into your prepared pumpkin.
Be prepared for grossness because as soon as you pour in your filling, it will start oozing out of the mouth. Oh yeah!
I feel a bit sick... in a good way! I hope you do too and you'll consider making this for your family and friends.
